This upset Lord Indra, who sent a storm to flood Vrindavan.

The people, scared and seeking Krishna's help, found refuge under the Govardhan Hill.

With his divine power, Krishna lifted the massive hill on his little finger, saving the village from the storm.

When Indra realized his mistake, he stopped the rain.

Krishna's compassion and devotion to the land and its people were celebrated.

Annakut Feast
