According to Hindu Mythology, Hanuman Ji is known as the 11th Avatar of ‘Lord Shiva’ and it is also believed that Hanuman Ji is immortal.
Hindus celebrate Hanuman Jayanti with full of enthusiasm and many devotees arrange the ‘Sundarkaand Path’ on this day. It is believed that if we worship him with full devotion he can absorb all the sorrows and offer prosperity.
Hanuman is beloved by everyone from children to elderly people. He is the God of strength and brilliance.
Hanuman Janmotsav or Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated across India and the world with great celebration and devotion.
On this day, the devotees of Lord Hanuman, go to the temple and worshipping. They chant Hanuman Chalisa, Sankat Mochan Hanumastak, and Hanuman Stutis to celebrate the day. Many devotees celebrate this day by having a fast whole day.
Hanuman’s Hanuman Chalisa, a sacred hymn devoted to him only, is believed to invoke his divine grace and protection. It provides strength to the devotees in times of need.
Special pujas and aartis are performed throughout the day in Temples and homes. Devotees adorned the temples with fresh flowers, garlands, sweets, and devotion.
Hanuman Janmotsav gives the opportunity to the devotees to celebrate the day with full devotion, by remembering Hanuman sending wishes to each other. They also ask for the blessing of their family's safety, wellness, happiness, prosperity, and peace.
On this day, many devotees are also involved in charitable acts, arranging rath yatras to serve the community. They offer to feed the poor and also distribute clothes to the needy to reflect the spirit of selflessness and compassion like our beloved Hanuman.
The celebration resonates with the spirit of devotion and surrender to the divine will.
