Our nation celebrated 75 years of independence today, and we welcome the 76th in a spirit of pride.

As a nation, we achieved independence on August 15, 1947, and it has already been 75 years since then.

Acknowledging this, we are celebrating our independence day, referred to as 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav', as it marks 75 years of independence.

The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav has a special place in Indian people's hearts including the native citizens as well as the government officials.

That is why the ministry of culture of India launched a dedicated website on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in March 2022 to let all the people know its importance and significance.

About This Year’s Independence Day

On this year’s independence day, the event at the red fort will primarily be attended by the army officers and soldiers who have recovered from the Covid 19 pandemic.

And no student and school child will join the Independence Day ceremony this year.

And also, this year’s independence day will be a lot more special as this time we all will recognize the efforts of those who have saved the people to get majorly affected by the coronavirus and those who have saved people from the disastrous coronavirus.

This year’s independence day we will be recognizing and admiring the efforts of the doctors, physicians, nurses, paramedic physicians, and other workers from the healthcare industry.

Unlike every year, you will see only a handful of the school children at the red fort during the independence day event.

Earlier, you would have seen school children at the event in numbers ranging in thousands.

But because of the coronavirus, this year you will only see around 100-200 school children at the Independence day event sitting in the VIP enclosure.

A Brief Information about Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

On March 12, 2022, none other than our honorable prime minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji launched Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The reason behind the launch of this campaign was to pay tribute to the Indian people who accomplished so much and to honor & acknowledge the rich history and culture of India.

PM Narendra Modi Ji has a supreme vision of making Indian people independent of just finding jobs and working, he wants Indian people to be self-empowered by making them generate work instead of just finding it. He calls this mission ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’.

The government of India has concrete plans for India 2.0 and it is firmly believed that Modi Ji’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat mission will help in establishing India 2.0 at a faster pace.

The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is being celebrated on this Independence Day not only to acknowledge those who have helped India get so far but also to honor those who are going to take it even further.

12th of March, 2022 is the date when the journey of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav began and will come to an end on the day of Independence Day i.e.15th of August 2022.

How has team DIDM celebrated the 75th Independence Day?

It was such a pleasure for our team to celebrate the 75th Independence day with our teammates at all the DIDM branches.

For the 75th Independence Day celebration, all institutional branches were decorated with balloons, flags, and kites that were colored with the Indian flag colors.

Furthermore, all our team members wore attire that matched the Indian flag colors of orange, white, and green.

A variety of extracurricular activities have been carried out, such as taking photos, singing, etc.

As usual, it was not a regular day, but a much more special one, and we made the most out of it.

Also, we have participated in the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign keeping the five themes of that in mind.

And as we have told you earlier, one of the primary reasons Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav has been formed is to acknowledge those who have helped India get so far and also to honor those who are going to take it even further.

The main reason we participated in the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign is because we keep ourselves in the count when it comes to taking India further. It is our goal to take India further by making Indian people highly skilled in the most trending skill of today’s times: Digital Marketing.
