ASSOCHAM which stands for The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India is one of the largest trade associations in India.
As you may already be aware if you have been following us for a while now, DIDM has had the honor of receiving awards from ASSOCHAM not once but twice in the past.
For the first time, DIDM received the Most Promising Brand award from ASSOCHAM, while for the second time, DIDM received the Eminent Fair Business Practices award from ASSOCHAM.
Today, we are glad to announce that one more award from ASSOCHAM is headed for our award shelf on the 21st of March, 2023, and we are sincerely delighted to announce it.
There is no escaping the fact that this news is something that we cannot get our minds off of.
This is because apart from being one of the largest, ASSOCHAM is also one of the most reputable organizations in India, and receiving an award from ASSOCHAM that too for the third time is a very significant thing for the team at DIDM.
ASSOCHAM was established in 1920 and is headquartered in New Delhi, India.
The organization represents the interests of more than 450,000 member companies from various sectors, including manufacturing, services, and trade.
ASSOCHAM plays an important role in promoting trade and commerce in India.
It works towards the development of the country's economy by creating a conducive business environment for Indian businesses and foreign investors. 
The organization provides a platform for its members to interact and network with other businesses and stakeholders in the Indian economy.
ASSOCHAM is actively involved in policy advocacy and provides inputs to the government on various economic and trade-related issues.
It also organizes conferences, seminars, and other events to disseminate information and knowledge on the latest developments in various sectors of the economy.
The organization has a presence in several states across India and has regional offices in major cities such as Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.

1) The last time we attended the ASSOCHAM Award event to receive the prestigious ASSOCHAM award was on 9th of March, 2022, which means around a year back.
There was a great level of energy and enthusiasm among all the participants who attended the ASSOCHAM award event the last year, and the same level of energy and enthusiasm (even more) we got to see in this year’s ASSOCHAM award function.
2) The name of the ASSOCHAM ceremony was 9th MSMEs excellence awards and summit and the tagline was envisioning MSMEs’ for Bharat@100.
3) On March 9, 2022, the 8th MSME Excellence Awards and Summit was organized by ASSOCHAM at Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi to offer support to the MSME sector by providing recognition to the outstanding MSME based on their performance across different parameters.
The event, a part of ASSOCHAM’s Annual Session under the central theme ‘Bharat@100: envisioning a globally competitive future’.
In continuation of their efforts to support and promote MSMEs, ASSOCHAM announced the 9th ASSOCHAM MSME Excellence Awards which were hosted on 21st March 2023 in New Delhi.
4) The event was attended by esteemed guests, two of whom were Shri Narayan Tatu Rane and Shri B.B. Swain.
Shri Narayan Tatu Rane is the Hon'ble Minister of the Ministry of MSME in the Government of India and Shri B.B. Swain is the Secretary at the Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India.
They both are highly respected in their respective fields and are committed to advancing the growth and development of micro, small, and medium enterprises in India.
5) We are receiving the award from ASSOCHAM for the third time in a row.
6) It was the Fair Business Practices award that DIDM received from ASSOCHAM.
7) The summit was a great opportunity for industry professionals to learn about the latest initiatives of the Government and share their own insights into how to create a more conducive environment for business growth.
8) The respected chief guests who attended the event were delighted to present us with the award for the third time. Shri B.B. Swain handed over the award to the co-founder of DIDM, Ms. Priyanka Singhal.
