The auspicious nine nights of Navratri have come and it’s time to celebrate the divine feminine energy and embrace its values.
It is a great time to devote and celebrate the divine Nine Nights. Each day of these days is dedicated to the Mother Divine Nine Forms.
Nav means nine and Ratri means nights and this year the celebration starts on 3rd October and ends on 12th October 2024.
At DIDM, we celebrate Navratri with full devotion and reflect on its values, and hope.
Navratri Festival is one of the most loved and devoted Hindu festivals, and it is celebrated twice a year. It celebrates the victory of good over evil. Navratri offers 9 divine days to honor Goddess Durga in her nine forms.
In a year, there are two cycles of the Navratri Festival - Chaitra Navratri (Spring) and Sharad Navratri (Autumn). This is Sharad Navratri which is celebrated between September and October and this year it falls on October.
The Sharad Navratri is a symbol of the changing seasons, harvests, and the renewal of life.
The legend behind Navratri is that Maa Durga had a fierce battle against the demon king Mahishasura. The fight lasted for 9 long days and Maa emerged victorious on the tenth day which is known as Vijayadashami, or Dussehra.
The whole celebration during Navratri is just a reminder of spiritual victory and gives us hope and strength to overcome our obstacles and challenges.
At DIDM, we see Navratri as a time to renew and strengthen our commitments to learning and personal development. With the help of wisdom, courage, and compassion like Maa Durga, we encourage our students to develop these qualities and be on the right path in digital marketing.
Each day of the Navratri festival is dedicated to a different divine form of Goddess Durga. The celebration is for 9 days and every three days celebrate to honor different objectives like the first three days to honor the strength and power of Maa Durga (Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, and Chandraghanta), the next three days to celebrate the wealth and prosperity (Kushmanda, Shandamata, and Katyayani), and the final three days honors the wisdom and knowledge (Kalaratri, Mahagauri, and Siddhidatri).
These divisions symbolize our journey through life from having physical and mental strength to working hard to achieve success and money, and finally, it’s time to seek wisdom and knowledge.
At DIDM, we believe that Navratri teaches us valuable learning about growth and achieving new things with your determination.
