Guru Gobind Singh Ji was a warrior poet, and spiritual leader who is known for his ethics, qualities, strength, skills and many more. This year the Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti is celebrated on Jaunary 6, 2025 marks the birth anniversary.
He was born on December 22, 1666, in Patna, Bihar, as per the Nanakshahi Calendar. To celebrate Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s birth anniversary, Gurudwaras are decorated all over India, and people visit them to offer special prayers, Bhajans, and Kirtans.
The celebration includes Bhandaras for the needy people in all the gurudwaras throughout the day. It is a very auspicious day among the Sikh community.

There is a great spiritual significance of Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti for Sikhs and devotees to pray in gurudwars and remember the teachings of the Guru to pray and meditate.
The whole of India celebrated the Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti with pure hearts and called everyone for Nagar Kirtans. The spirit of seva, or unselfish service is great in the community which is one of the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
