Why do we celebrate Basant Panchami?

Basant Panchami is celebrated purely to worship Goddess Saraswati - the goddess of wisdom, knowledge, music, and arts. The festival starts with spring and signifies rebirth, development, and nature regeneration.

This day has great significance for the people who are deeply associated with education, arts, and culture and makes it very important for students, teachers, and creative professionals.

Basant Panchami symbolizes the end of the winter season and the beginning of the spring season and everyone celebrates it with pure joy and enthusiasm.

Everyone celebrates the Basant Panchami by dressing up in hues of yellow and green to resemble nature and performing pooja ceremonies while fasting. Devotees ask for the blessings of Maa Saraswati on this day.

One of the main attractions of Basant Panchami in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan regions is Flying Kites which is a symbol of soaring success.

Schools, colleges, and educational institutions across India conduct Saraswati Pooja to encourage students to start their educational journeys with the blessings of Maa Saraswati.

How DIDM Celebrates Basant Panchami?

The Delhi Institute of Digital Marketing (DIDM) celebrates Basanti Panchami with Saraswati Pooja at the corporate house in Noida and in all branches to seek Maa blessings for wisdom, talent, and skills.

The entire DIDM family – students, trainers, and team members worship Maa Saraswati and seek divine blessings for professional growth.

To celebrate the festival with pure spirit:

1) Everyone dress in shades of yellow and white which are the colors representing joy and renewal.

2) To worship Maa Saraswati, special prayers and hymns are chanted.

3) Our students and trainers come together to express their gratitude and seek guidance for the successful year ahead.

This day reminds us of a lifelong journey and that knowledge is the key to progress.
