On the 26th of April 2022, we moved one step closer to achieving the primary vision of the Delhi Institute of Digital Marketing, which is to spread the maximum level of awareness all across the country about Digital Marketing with the benefits it provides and to get every household a digital marketer so that no matter what the economy is or what pandemics have occurred, the economic impact will not affect the person's income.
Two seminars were conducted at the Jodhpur Army Campus by the Delhi Institute of Digital Marketing. 12th graders of Kendriya Vidyalaya in their last year of school were given sessions on how they could take advantage of digital marketing to lead a successful professional life.
Army officers, on the other hand, were taught how can they get benefitted from digital marketing based on their current schedules. Throughout this post, we will discuss both of these happenings in detail, so be sure to read it until the end.
First, we held a seminar for the 12th graders of Kendriya Vidyalaya, who will be passing out of high school in the very near future. The seminar was attended by around 50 students.
It seemed most logical to kick off the seminar with them since they were most likely to be seeking career advice because soon they will be graduating from high school and entering into the real world where only the skills and qualities of an individual matter.
As we conducted the seminar, we found the students to be too optimistic about what they were about to hear. They seemed to have already done deep research on the Delhi Institute of Digital Marketing, the way DIDM transforms people's lives from having no skills to being highly skilled.
They were overly joyful due to this, therefore, they gave utmost attention to everything we said and every activity we had them do after the seminar was over.
The Covid-19 pandemic was another reason behind the students' excessive passion. It was clear even to them what an impact Coronavirus has had on people's lives around the world. They saw people lose their jobs, shut down their businesses, and other catastrophes.
The students were unaware that there is a skill that never goes out of demand no matter how the economy is doing. They were too delighted to understand the details of digital marketing when they realized digital marketing was a skill like that.
After finishing our seminar with the Kendriya Vidyalaya students, we began our session with the Army Officers right after a short break who were present there at the army campus. The seminar was attended by around 70 army personnel.
Our main motive behind organizing a seminar for the army personnel is to empower them to do something during their free time and not let them become idle after retirement.
As a result of the seminar for army officers, we learned that most army people don't usually prefer to spend their time using Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and other social media applications, but instead tend to spend a lot of time watching YouTube videos.
When they got informed about how they can make money from YouTube (using which they loved the most) or how they can make money from doing digital marketing in particular, they were too excited to consider it as an extra income option.
We even had a few of them book seats for our Online Digital Marketing Course to learn in-depth about 'How they can make money from doing digital marketing?'
a) Some of the high school students were so amazed when we informed them about the benefits of becoming a digital marketer that they decided without any second thoughts to pursue a career in digital marketing.
b) It was originally planned that the session would last one hour since we thought that one hour would be sufficient to inform everyone about the benefits the digital marketing industry can offer. But in both seminars, the time was extended to two and a half hours since the students, as well as army officers, were so engaged with the lectures that the questions just would not stop, and seeing their interest level, we couldn't help but continue.
c) Our approach to both the seminars was slightly different since when we delivered the seminar to students we focused more on how they can have a better full-time professional career and when we delivered the seminar to army officers we focused more on how they can earn part-time income at the soonest possible time.
