Significance of Hindi Diwas (National Hindi Day)

Hindi Diwas is celebrated all over India to honor the day when Hindi was adopted as one of the official languages of India in the year 1949.

The celebration of the day reflects the importance of Hindi which is our national identity and cultural heritage. Hindi chosen as the official language of India in the official language resolution is due to its widespread use.

This decision is one of the significant ones as it promotes a common language and bridges communication gaps that we have across different regions of the country.

Hindi, an Indian language holds a cherished place in the hearts of millions of Indians and connects diverse communities with a shared language medium.

At DIDM, we believe in the power of language so much that it connects people and ideologies. It helps in sharing ideas, thoughts, and diversity.
